We were so excited to be asked to shoot Pure Barre Minneapolis and to see the completed studio!  Co-Owners, Robin and Kelsey wanted some fun shots of the team and needed head shots of the teachers and the front desk concierge team!  We came in and met all the teachers, who are so fun and warm (and beautiful)!  We were able to shoot the teachers in the studio for their head shots and they were all great - so many smiles and so many images to choose from!  They certainly made our job easier!!  We then moved to the lobby to shoot the concierge team and had some great natural lighting up front!  Again, we had so much fun.  Everyone was laughing and the energy was so electric!  We were able to coax everyone outside (even tho it was quite windy and chilly), to get some really natural, silly shots of the team!  One of our favorites (among many) is the "jumping" shot of the team.  We held up traffic, but it made for a great shot and most everyone was able to "catch" some air!  

The studio is open for business and we've actually taken several classes ourselves!  We HIGHLY recommend stopping by to check out the studio and take a class!  You'll get hooked!  

We would like to give a big shout out to Robin and Kelsey and everyone working at Pure Barre Minneapolis! We're so proud of all of you and the hard work you're doing.  The classes are great, we've met great people and can't wait to come in for more "Lift.Tone.Burn."

What a blast we had photographing Max, Tiffany and Stephen!  We have been lucky enough to photograph this gorgeous family 4 times (including a session with Lucy the puppy) and it's been such an honor and a complete joy!!  We always laugh, tell stories and get to just plain have fun!!  Max is such a handsome little man and he smiled so much during this session - we were so excited!!  He turned a lot of heads to, which was fun to watch!  

We met Luella, Brittany, Josh and their sweet dog Millie Sunday morning at the Walker Art Center and had a great session!  Luella had a colorful, fun jacket on that allowed us to get some bright shots and this made her eyes stand out so crisp and beautiful!  We had brought the cutest little headband that we got from lovebyCC photo props!  They have amazing headbands and props!  It was a little cooler this weekend so we were able to capture several shots outside and with the puppy, then had to move inside the Walker to get our final shots!  Luella did a great job, although we wish we could have gotten her to smile just once for us!  She wasn't quite sure what we were doing or who these women were (although she loved the little bench we brought!)!  What a beautiful family! We hope to take pictures of them again, maybe when it's warmer!!  

Today has been a whirlwind!  It’s been so hard to keep our big news a secret but Lavender finally released their Wedding Issue today and we’re so extremely happy to announce that they chose our photo to be the cover of this month’s issue!!!   Check out the cover below!!

Ania and I are both so thrilled and honored to have our photography featured in the magazine and there is even a nice article about how Ania and I met!  (tears coming)…we snagged several copies today to send out to family and the online issue is even more beautiful!  Check it out!  

Madison just turned 1!  We can't believe how the time has flown!  We feel like we just took her newborn pictures and now she's walking and saying "da da"!  For this shoot we scouted a new location and ended up shooting her, Holly and Jeff at Staring Lake Park, by the Outdoor Center!  The lighting was wonderful - fairly cloudy and no shadows!  The shoot was full of energy and Madison did great!  We were able to get some smiles and she had a lot of "fans" from bikers, walkers and runners that morning!  We've been so blessed to photography Madision since she was born and she just gets more beautiful and we love watching her personality form!  AND those eyes are STILL stunning!  

Wow, what a fun day!  We were lucky enough to share Diana + Garret's special day and take some crazy, fun shots of their wedding!  D+G got married on Sat, March 3rd in Chandler, Arizona and the day could not have been more beautfiful and serene!  There were no clouds in the sky and winds were light, and temp was about 73! Diana had such a handle on all the details and things seemed to go so smoothly!  I was actually her Maid-of-Honor for the wedding and Ania essentially became the personal attendant - helping us get Diana dressed and assisting with the photographer from LightRain Images. All I can say is take a look at how beautiful the bride looked on her wedding day!  This was probably the most beautiful dress I had ever seen.  Diana just looked so happy and it was such an honor to see Garret and Diana for their "first sighting"!  Insert tear here...

The ceremony was sweet and actually pretty quick!  Ania captured some amazing pics from the ceremony and during the reception!  What a great group of friends and family!

We're so excited to to hear all about their honeymoon!
